2. Cathy Freeman

Cathy Freeman is a retired Australian sprinter, born on February 16, 1973, in Slade Point, Mackay, Queensland. She is best recognized for her exceptional achievements in the world of athletics. Freeman competed at the Olympic Games representing Australia, winning gold in the 400 meters event at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Despite being born outside of Queensland Coast, she gained prominence through her relationship with Australian cricketer David Warner, who hails from Queensland Coast. Falzon has had a successful career as an ironwoman, winning multiple titles in surf lifesaving sports and representing Australia at international competitions.

7. Wayne Bennett

Wayne Bennett is an esteemed Australian rugby league coach who was born on January 1, 1950, in Allora, Queensland. He is renowned for his accomplishments in the National Rugby League (NRL) and has achieved remarkable success, leading teams such as the Brisbane Broncos to multiple premiership titles.
